Crossing Cultures

$ 25.00 USD

“Strength Lies in Differences not in Similarities” -Stephen R. Covey Child Advocacy Artist George E. Miller created this artwork for the 10th Annual Southeastern Conference on Cross Cultural Issues in Counseling. The Artist originally named the artwork after the conference theme and later changed it to “Fulfilling the Dream Together” The conference centered on the differences we have and how they can be our strengths. The message is that all men are truly created equal and like the great Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said "I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." Ask your students to bring in something unique from their culture and share it with their classmates.
